Tips

  • 150 DPI is a good balance of quality and file size.
  • For presentations or web use, 96 DPI is usually enough.

Privacy and limits

Local processing in your browser. Very high DPI + many pages can exhaust memory.

PNG: yes. JPEG: lossy, but at quality 92 % visually indistinguishable.
Will text stay sharp?
