Tips
- For scanned PDFs, run OCR first — otherwise the Word file just has images without editable text.
- Complex multi-column layouts or tables may not survive 1:1 — that's a limitation of LibreOffice's PDF importer.

Frequently asked about this tool
How accurate is the layout?▾
For simple documents (text + images) very good. For scientific papers, Excel exports or complex layouts there are often shifts — a known PDF→DOCX limitation.
What about scanned PDFs?▾
Without OCR, the image becomes an embedded picture in Word — text isn't editable. Run "OCR" first, then "PDF to Word".
